Have you ever heard the story of the three blindfolded people and the elephant ?
There were three blindfolded people that were each asked to determine what they were given to touch.
The first person was given the tail of the elephant to hold. Excitedly they shouted, "I know what it is, it is a rope !"
The second person was given the trunk of the elephant and said, "It must be a big snake !"
The third person was put in front of the side of the elephant, and they said definitively, "I'm sure it is a wall."
Everyone was certain they had the answer, but everyone based their conclusion on partial information.

This is exactly what most Internet Marketers would like you to believe when they give you one free report, and try to sell you some product for $ 47.00 that supposedly will make you rich. If that were true, don't you think everyone would be successful on the Internet? If it were really that easy everyone would be doing it.
In fact, the market for people looking to make money on the Internet is too big, and most people are too naive for the Internet Marketers not to take advantage of them. I know it well, because I was one of those naive people in the past. I really thought if I just looked hard enough, I might find the product that could really make me some serious money on the Internet.
Now, I realize that making money on the Internet is a process. It is mainly about education, and experience. Fortunately, I realized rather quickly, that I did not have enough knowledge, or the right tools, or experience to market successfully on the Internet, and no single piece of information was going to be a magic bullet to suddenly allow me suddenly to make money on the Internet.
Just like the blindfolded people in the elephant story, I had limited partial knowledge of what I needed to know, and where I need to look. I knew I was inexperienced. The biggest obstacle I seemed to face was not knowing where to look for the knowledge I needed, and not knowing who to trust to supply that information.
